History

Dennis is among the most respected authorities on DUI / OVI defense in Ohio. He is the only attorney in central Ohio who has graduated from both the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy and the Columbus Police Department Academy where he received training on DUI procedures during 36 weeks of Academy training. Formerly a Columbus police officer and assistant Columbus city attorney, Dennis has been a practicing attorney since November, 1985. Since that time he has represented many clients in both criminal and civil matters as a defense attorney since 1990.

Dennis has established himself as a premier advocate of persons charged with driving under the influence, with particular expertise in the machines used for breath testing and on the scientific requirements for calibration of those machines. He regularly counsels attorneys in Ohio and other states on breath testing issues. Dennis is particularly noted for his thorough investigations of both fact and law on behalf of his clients.

Dennis is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Capital University Law School where he was a member of the Capital University Law Review.
