Dan is a former weapons officer on a Naval destroyer and football player at The Ohio State University under the legendary Woody Hayes. He's been practicing law in Columbus since 1968. After serving as Assistant Attorney General, Assistant County Prosecutor and Assistant Counsel for the Ohio Manufacturer's Association, Dan opened his private law office on April 2, 1971. He engaged in the general practice of law until 1980, gradually narrowing his focus to representing clients charged with drinking and driving offenses, other criminal offenses and those who have suffered a personal injury, a workers' compensation injury, and those whose professional license is at risk.

Daniel Connor has been a frequent speaker throughout Ohio, primarily in the DUI / OVI and criminal law areas, and has authored many articles and two books, all in the area of DUI defense. He has represent thousands of DUI defendants in his 40 years of practice. Since 1968, he has tried hundreds of criminal and civil cases. Dan is a former officer and member of the Board of Directors of the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, The Ohio State Bar Association and the National and Ohio Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Connor, a lifelong resident of Columbus, served as President of the City of Columbus Civil Service Commission from 1984-1994. He has three adult children.
